Hi my name is Carlos and i'm interested into getting into the hobby. I went to hobby town in the mall here in Brunswick last saturday and was told to check out this site. I stopped by the field on sunday and looked around and think i'm hooked more. lol I then was told there was some rc off-road racing in savannah so i went up there to check that out as well. Well I have been looking online as to what would be a good starter plane and really like the Cessna 350 Corvalis. From the reviews i have seen it looks and sounds like a good starter. Anyone fly one or have one that can give me some feedback? Anyways i'm planing on going to the park again this sunday and staying longer and watching.

I can't tell you what to buy, but I will be glad to help you with what ever you decide on. If you have some experance the cessna would be a good choice, but if you are a beginner I would look for something with a little less control(Super Cub).

Please do come back to the flying field. I was there Sunday and did not see you.

Hope to see you on Sunday and answer any question you have.

Yea i wasn't there long. I was into rc drifting but my first rc plane. I actually work on real planes at the airport and thats why i was thinking of getting into rc flying. I have talked to a friend of mine that lives in jacksonville that flys rc planes and heli's for along time. He has told me to fly on a sim first then get a plane once i'm doing good. He has a sim for me to download on my computer. I just have to go to jax to get it. He's going to some 3d flying event in ga somewhere on the end of the month and if i have some extra time i might head out there to that event. As soon i get that sim i should be good to go. I have a flight sim but its not rc planes and i get hooked on that so i know i'm going to get hooked once i get the rc sim. I'll be going again this sunday to watch some more hopefully see you there.
